The protection of your privacy when using our web pages is very important to us. Therefore, we use your data in accordance with the statutory provisions on data protection. In the following paragraphs, we provide information on how we use your data.

OSWE collects various data and information about you via this website:
Web server logs. As a matter of principle, you can visit our web pages without informing us who you are. However, as is the case with almost all web pages, the server hosting our web pages (hereinafter referred to as the Web Server), automatically collects information about you when you visit us online.
The Web Server automatically recognises certain personal data such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit to our website, the pages you visit on our website, the website you previously visited, the browser you use (e.g. Internet Explorer), the operating system you use (e.g. Windows 7) as well as the domain name and the address of your internet service provider (e.g. GMX). If our website uses cookies (as described below), the Web Server also stores this information.
We routinely evaluate these server logs anonymously for statistical purposes (click stream analysis) in order to determine how our web pages are used. We then use these findings to optimise our website.

Conversion tracking in Google AdWords campaigns

Facebook Social Plugins
On some of its web pages, OSWE uses social plugins (hereinafter Plugins) belonging to the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (hereinafter Facebook). These Plugins are labelled with a Facebook logo or marked "Facebook Social Plugin".
Whenever you access one of our web pages containing such Plugins, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The Plugin contents are transferred from Facebook directly to your browser, which incorporates it in the web page. By incorporating the Plugins, Facebook receives information indicating that you have accessed the corresponding web page of our website. If you are logged on to Facebook, Facebook can attribute the web pages you have accessed to your Facebook account. If you interact with the Plugins, for instance by clicking on the "Like" button or by submitting comments, the relevant information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook, where it is stored. Collection, processing, use and transfer of personal data. Except in the context of the logs kept by the Web Server, we only collect data about you that you yourself have given us in order to use a service we provide (such as sending out information material, or responding to inquiries regarding available apartments, online application). These data are then processed and/or used solely for the purpose of carrying out that specific service.
Apart from the use of the Facebook Social Plugin as described above, your personal data are not transmitted to third parties.
International transfer of data. The personal data we store is exclusively processed in states that are members of the European Union and/or the European Economic Area (EU/EEA).
Security. We would like to point out that data transferred via the internet is unprotected, and that therefore there is a risk that third parties might intercept and use such data. You may also contact us at any time by regular mail or by telephone.
Minors. Children and young persons below the age of 14 years are not permitted to transfer personal data via the internet without the approval of their parents/guardians. Please be aware that our web pages are not intended to be used by, and are not directed at, young persons below the age of 18 years. We do not knowingly collect any personal data of persons under the age of 18 years.
